ZAKLabs

Your R&D team, without hiring one.

ZAKLabs answers the business questions you keep guessing at and fixes the processes that eat your week. We use your data and AI to find the answer, then build the fix.

How we work

See it. Think it. Zak it.

Every stroke in our logo is a step. We follow the same three steps on every project, whether it takes two weeks or six.

Step 1 · top stroke

See it

We sit with your team, map how the work really happens and pull the data you already have: Excel files, your ERP, sales records, maps.

Step 2 · diagonal

Think it

We analyse, model and test ideas against the numbers. You get a clear answer in plain language, with the evidence behind it.

Step 3 · base and dots

Zak it

We build the fix: an automated report, a dashboard, a forecast or an AI tool. Then we hand it over so your team can run it.

Red before green. Most ideas fail a quick test before one works. We run the cheap tests early, so you only pay to build the idea that passed.

Where should a coworking space open next?

In progress

Location intelligence for coworking operators

Choosing the wrong neighbourhood locks a coworking operator into years of rent and empty desks. We are building a scoring model that ranks city areas on what actually fills a coworking space.

The model combines office and startup density, universities, competing spaces, rents, footfall and transport access into one score per area.

The full write-up will be published here once the project is finished.

Scoring factors (draft weights)
FactorWeight
Office and startup density25%
Competing coworking spaces20%
Commercial rent per sq ft20%
Universities nearby15%
Transport access10%
Cafés and footfall10%

Weights are a starting point and will change as the data comes in.

About

Built by someone who has done the manual version

ZAKLabs was founded by Zeerak Ajmal Kakar, a data professional with hands-on experience in ERP systems and business reporting.

I've spent years building the reports by hand, chasing numbers across Excel files and answering "why did this happen?" with whatever data I could find. ZAKLabs exists to do that work properly, with data and AI, for businesses that don't have their own R&D team.
